Task 1a: Masters Shots
Master Shot Summary
The eyeline match allows the viewer to experience what the character feels by showing the things that the character sees and his or her reaction. The first shot will be of the character looking at something off the frame or directly at the camera. Gradual zoom may be effective. To show what the character is looking at, you may use a direct cut to the object or person the character is looking at, or you can pan around the character and direct the camera to the object (depending on the position of the character).
